Welcome to Thazin Driving School, proudly based in Cairns, Australia.

We provide professional one-on-one practical driving lessons for students working toward obtaining their automatic car driver’s licence. Our aim is to help learners build confidence, develop safe driving habits, and become responsible drivers on the road.

Our services include:

• Personalised one-on-one driving lessons tailored to each student’s experience and learning pace
• Refresher driving lessons for drivers who want to regain confidence or improve their skills
• Specialised instruction covering traffic rules, road safety, and defensive driving techniques
• Training using dual-control vehicles to ensure maximum safety during every lesson
• Step-by-step guidance to help students develop strong driving skills and road awareness
• Thorough preparation to ensure students are confident and ready to pass their driving test

Community Contribution

Starting 1 April, $5 from every driving lesson will be contributed to support refugee women from Arakan, Myanmar, helping fund programs that promote their well-being, education, and career skills development.

At the same time, Thazin Driving School is also committed to supporting people within the Cairns community, including individuals and families experiencing financial hardship, low-income earners, migrants from diverse communities, and members of the local community who may need additional support in accessing driving education and opportunities.

Through this initiative, Thazin Driving School aims not only to help people become safe and confident drivers, but also to create positive social impact locally in Cairns and internationally for communities in need.

Student who lives in Smithfield, Northern Beach, Goldbrough, Edmonton, Mount Sheridan would have to book at least 1 and half hour lesson.

4 Hours Driving Lesson

More info 240 Minutes driving lesson is for those who would like to have more experience on the road and some safe parking practices and etc.
Included: Pick up and drop off to your destination.
This can help you to gain more about road knowledge, learn skills and preparation for your test.
This can be spilite into two session 2 hour each.

If you are living in Smithfield, Redlynch, Goldsbrough, Edmonton, Mount Sheridan and out of city catchment area it is mandatory required to book one and half hour to 2 hours lesson.

5-Hour's driving lesson package
